Horizontal Rooftop Sun Protection

The Luxa 100T is a horizontal zip screen designed specifically for pergola and veranda roof applications. Unlike vertical zip screens that mount on walls, the 100T mounts directly onto the roof beam structure, providing sun and weather protection from above without requiring electrical wiring to the building wall. The motorised zip-guided system uses a tubular motor with integrated radio receiver, operated by remote control or home automation systems (KNX, Modbus). The screen fabric runs in aluminium guide channels that maintain tension even in wind speeds up to 80 km/h. Fabric options include standard sunscreen (1–14% openness factor), blackout, and rain-resistant Soltis membrane. Maximum dimensions are 4000mm width × 5000mm projection. The compact cassette housing (100×120mm) conceals the rolled fabric when retracted. The 100T is the ideal complement to LuxaShade bioclimatic pergolas, adding an additional layer of protection beneath the louvre blades.
