Insect Screens & Fly Screens
Formerly known as Roller Insect Screen for Windows & Doors
IS-RLA roller insect screen with spring-loaded retraction — pull down for fresh air, the spring pulls it back when released. Compact aluminium cassette mounts above the window or door. Fiberglass mesh, any RAL colour.
Spring it down. Spring it up. Forget it.
Most insect screens need maintenance: tracks clog, springs weaken, frames bend. Filo Roll uses a tensioned spring inside a 45 or 55 mm aluminium cassette — pull the screen down by the handle, it locks at the base; release the catch, the spring smoothly retracts it back into the cassette. Fiberglass mesh for maximum airflow, polyester for pet households. Custom sizes up to 2,500 mm tall by 2,000 mm wide. Tool-free mesh replacement. Any RAL frame colour. Silent retraction — ideal for bedrooms.

Use these answers when comparing a compact retractable insect screen for windows, balcony doors and standard openings.
A roller insect screen is used for windows and doors where a compact cassette should pull the mesh down or across, then retract it when ventilation is not needed.
Compare insect screens →Review a pleated screen when the opening is wider, the door is used often, or the project needs a side-folding mesh route for a terrace or sliding-door opening.
Compare pleated screen →Useful first data includes opening width and height, fixing surface, cassette position, guide rail route, frame colour and whether the screen is for a window, door or French door.
Request screen review →Mesh fully conceals inside the Ø45/55mm cassette — no visible screen when not in use.
Adjustable spring tension for smooth, one-hand deployment and retraction.
Anti-snap mechanism prevents the screen from retracting too fast — gentle, controlled close.
Available for top-down (windows) or side-pull (doors) configurations.
Ø45mm for standard windows. Ø55mm for larger or taller openings requiring heavier mesh.
Yes. The spring mechanism has an adjustment screw to fine-tune retraction speed and holding force.
The spring mechanism is rated for 10,000+ cycles — approximately 15–20 years of daily use.
