Winter Garden & Veranda
Formerly known as Luxa WG Cube Freestanding Veranda
WG-CUBEA freestanding glass veranda standing on its own four (or six) aluminium pillars. Same four-season glass compatibility and frame as the wall-mounted Vetra WG, designed for the middle of the garden — gazebo, garden room, outdoor office. Up to 60 m², any RAL colour.
A glass room in the garden — no wall required.
Sometimes the best spot in the garden is the one that doesn't touch the house. The Luxa Vetra Cube is a freestanding glass veranda — four or six aluminium pillars, an insulated glass roof, and 7% slope drainage routed concealed inside the columns. Use it as a garden gazebo, an outdoor office, a dining pavilion that runs from May breakfast to December dinner. Same TIGER Coatings powder coat and 6063-T5 aluminium frame as the wall-mounted Vetra WG; the difference is structural — Cube carries its own load through corner posts instead of a back wall. Documented through the EN 1991 project-check route. Up to 60 m² of glass-roofed floor, any RAL colour, four-season comfort that your garden didn't have before.

Use these answers when comparing a freestanding glass garden room for outdoor living areas that should not depend on a house wall.
Luxa Vetra Cube is a freestanding aluminium glass veranda route for garden rooms, hospitality seating and outdoor areas where the structure should stand independently.
Compare veranda systems →Use the cube route when the project needs an independent outdoor room, a pavilion-like layout or more flexible placement away from the main facade.
Compare wall-mounted route →Confirm footprint, pillar layout, ground condition, drainage, access, glass type, exposure assumptions and whether lighting, heating or side closure should be included.
Review cube veranda →Self-supporting aluminium columns — no wall or building attachment required. Place the Cube anywhere in your outdoor space with complete positioning freedom.
Thick-walled carrier profile with internal ribbing. The rear beam replaces the wall connection, delivering the same structural integrity as the wall-mounted WG.
Specialised aluminium corner connectors for L-shaped, U-shaped, and courtyard configurations. High waterproofing with easy assembly.
Compatible with tempered single glass, laminated safety glass (VSG 8mm), and insulated double glazing. Choose based on climate, usage, and budget.
Height-adjustable column base plates compensate for uneven ground. Concealed drainage through hollow columns with adjustable outlet direction.
Extruded aluminium profiles with TIGER Coatings industrial powder coat. Corrosion-resistant, UV-stable, and 98% recyclable at end of life.

The wall-mounted WG attaches to your building facade and uses the wall for rear structural support. The Cube is completely freestanding — it has its own rear beam on columns, requiring no wall at all. Both share the same frame system, glass options, accessories, and TIGER Coatings finish. Choose the Cube when: there is no suitable wall, the wall cannot bear the load, you want the veranda away from the house, or you want to avoid drilling into the facade.
Anywhere with a suitable foundation — garden centres, poolside, courtyards, open terraces, rooftop decks, event spaces, or any outdoor area detached from the building. The Cube is also ideal near the house when wall mounting is not possible due to insulation, cladding, or heritage restrictions.
Four-pillar configuration for standard areas, six-pillar for larger spans up to 60 m². Width range 2,000–12,060 mm, depth range 1,000–5,000 mm. Multiple modules can be coupled using the 90° corner connection for L-shaped, U-shaped, and courtyard layouts.
Yes. At any time, add frameless glass sliding walls, folding glass doors, or ZIP screens on any or all sides. This transforms the open Cube into a fully enclosed freestanding glass pavilion or garden room — ideal for year-round use without any structural modification to the roof.
Three options: tempered single glass (budget-friendly, summer use), laminated safety glass VSG 8mm (recommended standard), and insulated double glazing (best thermal performance for year-round enclosed use). Solar control and self-cleaning coatings available.
Extruded aluminium profiles with reinforced carrier sections. All surfaces finished with TIGER Coatings powder coat — UV-resistant, salt-spray tested, any RAL colour. Stainless steel fasteners. Aluminium is 98% recyclable.
Requirements vary by country. Freestanding structures are often classified differently from wall-mounted extensions. In Germany, many Bundesländer exempt freestanding structures under 30 m². In France, structures under 20 m² require a déclaration préalable. The freestanding nature may simplify permit requirements in some jurisdictions. Always consult your local authority.
Clean the aluminium frame 2–3 times per year with water and mild soap. Clean glass roof panels with a telescopic glass cleaner. Clear drainage channels before autumn. Inspect column base plates annually for level. The powder coat does not require repainting.
Engineered according to EN 1991 — specific capacity depends on span dimensions and glass type. The freestanding frame distributes loads through all columns evenly. Your PONARC dealer calculates the exact rating for your configuration.
The Cube is positioned slightly above the wall-mounted WG due to additional columns and the rear beam. Price depends on dimensions, glass type, colour, and accessories. Request a personalised quote — consultation and site survey are included.
The Cube requires concrete foundations or heavy-duty base plates for each column — typically 4 or 6 foundation points. Because the structure is freestanding, no…
