Aluminium Balcony Railings
Formerly known as EasyMod MARS-P Post Railing
EM-MPEasyMod MARS-P (P = Post) — floor-anchored freestanding post railing system. 60×60mm posts, 5 bar profile options: Ø16mm round to 50×15mm flat blade. Top-mount or side-mount anchors, any RAL colour.
MARS-P — Post-Mounted Freestanding Bar Railing
EasyMod MARS-P is the post-mounted freestanding variant of the MARS (Modular Aluminium Railing System). **P = Post** — 60×60mm floor-anchored aluminium posts (EN AW-6063 T6) with M10 A4 stainless steel base plate anchors. The system stands independently from the wall, making it the standard choice for balcony edges, terrace perimeters, rooftop barriers, and stair landings where the railing cannot be fixed to a masonry face. The MARS-P uses the same universal top rail (60×30mm) and bar profile family as the rest of the MARS system: **Ø16mm round** (classic, most popular for residential), **14×14mm square** (refined, architectural), **20×20mm square** (bold commercial presence), **30×15mm flat** (horizontal shadow lines), **50×15mm flat** (wide blade, near-louvre effect). Bar spacing is 100–120mm — compliant with EN 1991-1-1 and DIN 18065 fall protection requirements. Top-mount (base plate on slab surface) and side-mount (bracket to slab edge) options available. The MARS-P is CE marked per EN 1090 for structural aluminium fabrication and meets 1.0 kN/m residential and 1.5 kN/m commercial load ratings.

Use these answers when comparing a post-mounted balcony railing route for terraces and slab-edge projects.
AR-P is best used where the railing route starts from floor-anchored or side-mounted posts and the project needs a modular aluminium guardrail with defined fixing points.
Compare railing systems →Use a post railing when the slab or terrace edge is the main fixing route. Use wall or reveal fixing when the opening condition is closer to a Juliet or facade-mounted guard.
Compare Juliet route →Useful first data includes slab edge, post spacing, mounting route, railing height, infill preference, finish colour, wind exposure and project country.
Request railing review →Floor-anchored 60×60mm posts — no wall fixing needed. Ideal for balcony edges, terraces, rooftop perimeters, and any location where wall anchor is not possible.
Ø16mm round · 14×14mm sq · 20×20mm sq · 30×15mm flat · 50×15mm flat. All EN AW-6063 T6 aluminium, QUALICOAT Class II in any RAL colour.
Base plate bolted to slab surface (top-mount) or bracket to slab edge (side-mount). Both use M10 A4 stainless anchors — no specialist equipment required.
Identical top rail and bar profiles to MARS-H — mix post-mounted and wall-bracket sections on the same building without visual inconsistency.
Pre-drilled bracket points in the top rail for plug-in solar PV modules up to 400Wp. Generate electricity from your balcony railing.
Structural aluminium fabrication certification — verified load performance for all European building authorities.

P stands for Post — the floor-anchored, freestanding post version of the MARS (Modular Aluminium Railing System). Compare with MARS-H (H = Horizontal rail infill).
Five sections: Ø16mm round, 14×14mm square, 20×20mm square, 30×15mm flat, 50×15mm flat. All powder-coated in any RAL colour.
The base MARS uses wall-bracket mounting (side-fix to masonry or ETICS). MARS-P uses floor-anchored posts — no wall connection required. Both use identical bar profiles and top rail.
Standard post spacing is 1500–2500mm depending on bar profile and barrier height. Structural calculation provided for each configuration.
Yes. Side-mount brackets work directly on the parapet top edge. Top-mount base plates bolt through screed into structural slab.
