Brise Soleil Louvre Systems
Formerly known as Folding Brise Soleil Shutter System
BSL-FLHinged aluminium louvre panels that fold flat against the facade when closed and swing outward when open — solar shading that adjusts by hand. Bi-fold or tri-fold panels. Any RAL colour, motor optional.
Fold flat against the wall. Open like wings.
Some windows need shade in the morning, sun in the afternoon, both within an hour. Folding brise soleil panels solve this with hinges: panels fold flat against the wall when not needed, swing outward to cover the glass when the sun arrives. The Tela Fold system uses bi-fold or tri-fold aluminium panels, 400-800 mm each, hinged on stainless steel pivots. Manual operation by hand, or 24V motor for synchronised operation across multi-window facades. Wind class 2 to EN 1991-1-4. Aluminium frame, fixed internal louvres, any RAL colour.
Use this product when its technical role, installation route and project assumptions are clear enough to move from browsing to quotation.

Use these answers when comparing folding aluminium shutters for facade shading, privacy and full-opening flexibility.
A folding brise soleil is used where aluminium facade shutters should open compactly to one side while still offering shading and privacy when closed.
Compare brise soleil →Choose folding panels when the opening should clear more completely and side-folding space is available; choose sliding panels when a track-guided moving screen is preferred.
Compare sliding route →Confirm opening width, panel count, folding direction, hinge or track detail, facade fixing, wind exposure, operation method and finish colour.
Review folding facade →Panels fold to just 120mm depth per pair — minimal facade protrusion when not in use.
Swing panels outward to shade, or fold flat to maximise natural light in winter.
Open panels allow air circulation while louvre blades block direct solar radiation.
Choose friction hinges for hand operation or 24V actuators with rain/wind sensor automation.
Panels fold in pairs. A typical window opening uses 2–4 panels (1–2 folding pairs).
The blades within each panel are fixed at the optimal shading angle. Shading is controlled by folding the entire panel open or closed.
Yes. The system mounts to the facade with standard brackets — no structural modifications required.
