Glass Door Systems & French Balcony

FS-SLFrameless sliding glass panels on aluminium rails that stack to one side for a fully open terrace — laminat VSG safety glass, concealed floor track, wind-protected enclosure when closed. Any RAL colour with TIGER Coatings.
Frameless Sliding Glass, Seamless Opening
FrontSlide is a frameless sliding glass panel system for terraces, verandas, and balconies. Individual glass panels (8–10mm tempered) run on slim aluminium top and bottom tracks with stainless steel roller carriages. Panels slide horizontally and stack against one side wall when fully opened, providing up to 90% clear opening. The track system is flush-mounted into the floor and ceiling/beam, creating an almost invisible frame when closed. Panels overlap by 20mm with brush seals for weather protection. The system accommodates openings from 2000mm to 6000mm in width. Standard panel widths are 600–800mm. No threshold bar protrudes above floor level — full accessibility compliance. Available with single glazing (8mm ESG) or insulated options.

Use these answers when comparing a sliding glass wall route for terraces, balconies, hospitality openings and weather-protected outdoor rooms.
FrontSlide is used for frameless sliding glass walls where panels need to move horizontally, stack compactly and keep a terrace, balcony or restaurant opening visually open.
Compare glass systems →Sliding glass is often the better route when compact track-guided movement, panel overlap and simple day-to-day operation matter more than a full-width folding opening.
Compare folding route →Confirm opening width, track depth, drainage, threshold expectation, stacking side, wind exposure, glass type and whether the glass wall connects to pergola or veranda planning.
Review glass opening →All panels stack to one side — nearly the entire opening is free when the system is open.
Recessed aluminium track sits level with the finished floor — no trip hazard, full accessibility.
No vertical frame members between panels — uninterrupted glass views when closed.
20mm panel overlap with brush gaskets provides wind and rain protection without rubber seals.
Up to 6000mm with multiple stacking panels. Each panel is 600–800mm wide.
The brush seal system provides effective protection against wind and light rain. For full weather sealing, consider insulated glass options.
Yes. FrontSlide is commonly used to enclose balconies, creating a semi-open living space that can be fully opened in good weather.
