VisioMod Modulo is the structural backbone that sits beneath every VisioMod fence design line — the post, cap, bracket and mounting system that allows all seven aesthetic programs (Lineo, Vento, Sereno, Trama, Bosco, Cristallo and Inciso) to share a single engineered platform. Rather than detailing seven incompatible fence systems, the architect specifies one Modulo skeleton and selects the infill panel that suits the project language. Posts are extruded 6063-T5 aluminium in three square sections — 60, 80 and 100 mm — paired with four standard heights of 1100, 1400, 1800 and 2200 mm, with brackets at 90°, 135° and a fully adjustable 0–180° hinge for non-orthogonal site geometry. Post sizing follows wind tier and infill weight rather than aesthetics. The 60 mm section serves residential boundaries up to 1400 mm in sheltered zones and anchors on M12 chemical bolts into a finished slab. The 80 mm post covers the 1400-1800 mm bracket and is the workhorse of typical perimeter projects, set into a 500 mm concrete foundation. The 100 mm post is reserved for 2200 mm tall runs, exposed coastal or alpine sites and frost-zone installations, set into 700 mm concrete pads compliant with DIN EN 1997 geotechnical guidance. Four cap variants — flat (minimalist), pyramid (classical), LED-integrated (architectural) and rain-channelled (technical) — close the post head and let the same skeleton read as contemporary, traditional or estate-grade depending on the chosen profile. Modulo Light is the optional lighting layer woven into the same posts. Cap LED spots (3 W) mark the top of every post to create a rhythmic dotted line at dusk; linear LED strips at IP68 thread between slats on Lineo and Trama; backlit panels turn Sereno and Inciso infills into glowing lanterns. The whole program runs on safe 24 V DC from a 60–200 W driver, controlled by RF remote, wall dimmer or a Zigbee/Matter bridge for smart-home choreography. IP68 ingress rating, marine-grade silicone gaskets and corrosion-tested drivers underwrite a 5-year warranty — long enough to align with a typical landscape-architecture defects-liability cycle.

Post section is selected from the wind-load and height matrix, not the design palette: 60 mm for sheltered runs to 1400 mm, 80 mm as the residential standard to 1800 mm, 100 mm for 2200 mm and exposed coastal or alpine zones. The platform's true value to an architect is that one Modulo specification covers all seven VisioMod design lines, so the boundary can change visual language at the entry, garden and pool without changing structural engineering, foundation detail or fixing schedule. Modulo Light layers an architectural lighting grammar onto the same skeleton: cap LEDs establish a punctuating rhythm along the run at dusk, linear strips between Lineo slats produce a horizontal grazing wash that animates the louvre depth, and backlit panels behind Sereno or Inciso infills turn discrete sections into glowing lanterns that mark gates, corners or address points. Control flows from a single 24 V DC driver to RF, wall dimmer or a Zigbee/Matter bridge, so the fence joins the home's lighting scenes alongside facade and landscape circuits.

The 60 mm post anchors with four M12 chemical bolts into a minimum 150 mm reinforced slab — suitable for terraces and existing concrete aprons. The 80 mm post is concrete-set 500 mm deep into a 300 × 300 mm pad, the project standard for residential perimeters. The 100 mm post requires a 700 mm deep, 400 × 400 mm pad designed to DIN EN 1997 for frost-zone or exposed-coastal sites. Cable conduit (20 mm) is pre-routed through the foundation and up the post interior before backfill, so Modulo Light wiring is concealed end-to-end. The 24 V DC driver is sited inside the technical cabinet at the gate end of the run, with voltage drop calculated for runs over 30 m. The Zigbee/Matter bridge pairs from the same cabinet. Each post bracket carries ±10 mm vertical and ±5° rotational adjustment to absorb foundation tolerance.
