Luxa 100T — Horizontal Top Screen

Formerly known as Luxa 100T — Horizontal Top Screen

ZIP 100T

A horizontal zip screen designed for pergola and veranda roofs — fabric tensioned across the underside of the roof to filter sun, glare, and heat. Used over Sereno 700, Vetra WG, or any flat roof up to 6×4 m. Motorised, RAL frame.

When even bioclimatic louvres need a softer light.

The Sereno 700 louvres tilt to 115°, but at noon some terraces still need a softer touch — afternoon sun raking across glass walls, glare on a screen, heat radiating off polished stone. The Tela 100T runs a tensioned fabric across the underside of the pergola or veranda roof. Press a button and the fabric extends along precision rails, kept flat against gravity by counter-tension springs. Light is filtered, not blocked; the louvres above can stay open for ventilation. Compatible with Luxa Sereno 700, Vetra WG, Vetra Cube, and most flat aluminium roofs up to 6×4 m. Aluminium cassette, fabric range 350-450 g/m² translucent, any RAL frame colour. RTS motor IP44, wind class 2.

PRODUCT DECISION GUIDE

When Luxa 100T — Horizontal Top Screen is the right ZIP screen.

Use this route when the facade, pergola or opening needs vertical shading with better control of glare, privacy and wind exposure.

Suitable projects

ZIP screens work as a facade-shading layer, pergola side closure or hospitality weather-control layer.

  • Pergola side closures
  • Facade and window shading
  • Hospitality areas needing fast weather response

Check before quote

Clarify opening dimensions, guide fixing, fabric openness, control type and exposure before the screen is specified.

  • Fabric openness and privacy target
  • Guide-channel fixing surface
  • Motor, manual or solar control route

Project handoff

Treat ZIP screens as part of the building envelope rather than an accessory so the result improves comfort and appearance.

  • Pair with pergola or facade system
  • Confirm wind and fabric assumptions
  • Quote after dimensions are measured
