Frameless Glass Railings
Formerly known as VisioAir Post-Fixed Glass Balustrade
VA-PFPost-mounted glass balustrade with slim stainless steel posts. Minimalist design for residential and commercial balconies with maximum transparency.
Post-Mounted Glass with Architectural Aluminium
VisioAir is a post-fixed glass balustrade system that combines the transparency of glass panels with the structural integrity of powder-coated aluminium posts. Square (40Γ40mm) or round (Γ42mm) aluminium T6 6063 posts are anchored at 1000β1200mm intervals, with adjustable glass clamp connectors securing 8+8, 10+10 or 12+12 mm VSG laminated panels between posts. The clamp system allows Β±5mm horizontal and Β±3mm vertical adjustment during installation. Glass panels sit in rubber-lined clamps, isolating them from metal contact. The system is tested to 1.0 kPa per EN 1991-1-1 for residential and light commercial use. Posts are available in any RAL powder-coat colour or anodised finish. A continuous round (Γ42mm) or flat (60Γ25mm) aluminium handrail runs across the post tops. VisioAir is particularly suited for staircases, mezzanines, and interior balconies where a clean yet visible structural frame is desired.
Use this route when the project needs view-preserving safety, a clean architectural edge and clear load or approval assumptions.
Glass railings suit balconies, terraces and commercial edges where transparency and safety need to work together.
Confirm substrate, glass height, wind exposure, line-load requirement and approval documentation before pricing.
Move from visual selection to standards-aware specification so the railing is not treated as a simple glass panel.
Use FS 1500 for lighter residential frameless glass routes.
Heavy-duty routeUse FS 7000 when public or high-load assumptions matter.

Use these answers when comparing a lighter glass railing or guard route where transparency, airflow and visual minimalism matter.
VisioAir is used when a project needs a transparent guard or railing expression with a lighter visual profile than a heavy base-channel glass railing route.
Compare glass railings βChoose an FS base-channel system when the project needs a stronger frameless glass edge route, heavier specification language or a clearer commercial/public-edge review path.
Compare FS route βConfirm opening type, guard height, fixing surface, intended glass route, wind exposure and whether the project needs residential or commercial documentation.
Review glass route βSquare or round posts in high-grade aluminium alloy β lightweight, corrosion-resistant and available in any RAL colour.
Three-axis adjustment (Β±5mm horizontal, Β±3mm vertical) simplifies installation on uneven surfaces.
Panels are clamped between posts without any holes β reducing glass cost and lead time.
Adjustable post brackets and angled clamp adaptors accommodate stair pitches from 25Β° to 45Β°.
Continuous round or flat handrail connects post tops for code-compliant graspable barrier.
Posts can be spaced up to 1200mm apart for standard residential loads. Commercial applications require 1000mm spacing.
Yes. Adjustable post brackets accommodate stair angles from 25Β° to 45Β°. Glass panels are cut to match the rake angle.
